The photograph on the title page was taken by Alison Jones at the Omo Dellta north of Lake Turkana, which is about 400 kms north of Lake Baringo. Alison has been coming to Africa to photograph indigenous tribes for at least twenty years and hopes to visit the Baringo area in September 2007.
